As an Industrial Engineer, you will provide technical and application support for the Electronics Advanced Facilities team (US location flexible - remote role). Each day, you will leverage your industry expertise to lead project teams of industrial engineering professionals to design and support state-of-the-art semiconductor facilities. Your main responsibility will be to support the development of the base build factory design and coordinate the requirements with clients, subcontractors, project management, and Jacobs' disciplines. This includes validating utility planning and optimizing equipment layouts while considering all aspects of a fully operational facility.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
  • Must have a Professional Engineer License in Industrial and Systems, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
  • Must be able to obtain Professional Engineer License in OR, ID, and NY at start of employment
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience in semiconductor fab design, manufacturing, or closely related field
  • Ability to travel globally 5% to 15% of the time
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Data analysis experience using MS Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Here's what you'll need

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Familiarity with equipment specifications written in CSI Master format
  • Experience using database tools
  • Experience with Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHSs)
  • Expertise in semiconductor manufacturing tools used for logic chips, memory, and advanced packaging
  • Experience managing technical teams
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams

The base salary range for this position is $123,600.00 to $216,400.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
