DescriptionPosition Manager Industrial Engineering Location Uxbridge MA Position TypeSchedule Onsite Monday - Friday Reports To Vice President OperationsStarting Compensation 125000 - 145000 Compensation is an estimate and depends on skills knowledge education and experiencePosition Snapshot The Industrial Engineering Manager leads a team of 6 Industrial & Test Engineers and is responsible for driving engineering excellence operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the organization. This role translates business and operational priorities into clear objectives actionable plans and disciplined execution delivering measurable and sustainable improvements in safety quality delivery cost and productivity. The Manager develops team capability through clearly defined roles standardized processes knowledge sharing and cross-training to strengthen organizational resilience and eliminate single points of dependency.Working closely with Operations and other cross-functional partners this leader achieves results through collaboration influence and strong partnerships ensuring Industrial Engineering is fully integrated into daily operations and contributes meaningfully to the organizations strategic objectives.About You You are an experienced engineering leader who drives results and builds high-performing teams. Above all you measure success not only by business results but by the capability engagement and growth of your team.A day in the lifeLead Industrial Engineering and continuous improvement initiatives that drive safety quality delivery cost and productivity results.Develop and execute the Industrial Engineering roadmap aligned with business and operational priorities.Champion Lean manufacturing operational excellence and process optimization across the site.Lead and prioritize engineering and CI projects ensuring measurable sustainable results.Drive automation digitalization equipment and process improvement initiatives.Build & lead a high-performing team through clear structure standard processes coaching and cross-training.Partner closely with Operations and cross-functional teams to solve problems align priorities and improve performance.Establish KPI-driven decision making and structured problem-solving practices.Support capital projects through business case development ROI analysis and implementation planning.RequirementsWhat you bringBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field equivalent education and experience may be considered5 years of experience in manufacturing industrial engineering or continuous improvement including 3 years leading engineers or technical teamsA proven record of delivering IE and CI projects with measurable results in safety quality delivery cost capacity or productivityStrong knowledge of Lean manufacturing labor standards work measurement capacity planning standard work KPI management and structured problem solvingLean Six Sigma certification is highly desirableExperience developing business cases and implementing equipment test automation or layout improvementsWorking knowledge of ERPMES systems SAP highly preferred and the ability to use data to guide decisions and track resultsPrevious experience building team structure standard processes and cross-training programsExceptional coaching communication change management and cross-functional influencing skillsExperience in a manufacturing or assembly environment within electronics industrial automation or other engineered product industriesPrevious experience working in a global organization with strong cross-functional collaboration skills is a plusAbout us Lenze is a global manufacturer of electrical and mechanical drives motion control and automation technology - offering products drive solutions complete automation systems and engineering services and tools from one single source.
