The Industrial Technician will support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of equipment and systems in our IT Server Manufacturing Facility. This role focuses on ensuring reliable operation of assembly line machinery, facility equipment, and production support systems to maintain efficient manufacturing workflows. The ideal candidate has hands-on technical expertise in industrial equipment, understands manufacturing processes, and can quickly respond to operational issues with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on assembly line equipment, and manufacturing support machinery
- Assist with installation, calibration, and testing of production tools and equipment
- Support facility infrastructure systems including HVAC, electrical, and lighting systems as needed
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment issues that impact manufacturing flow
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment service records
- Participate in preventive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime
- Support 5S, Lean manufacturing, and safety initiatives within the production and maintenance areas
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic system failures and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or repairs
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies during maintenance activities
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance or technician roles
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment maintenance in electronics or assembly environments
- Experience reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and maintenance manuals
- Ability to use hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety devices
- Basic computer skills for logging and tracking maintenance activities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electronics, or related field preferred
- Experience working in server assembly, electronics manufacturing, or high-tech environments
- Understanding of ESD safety protocols and cleanroom procedures
- Certification in OSHA safety, lockout/tagout, or related safety training
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
