Now hiring for an Industrial Engineer - Direct Hire

Location: Russellville, AR

Salary: $60,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 5 AM - 3 PM

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Additional manufacturing, APICS, or continuous improvement certifications are a plus.

Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Process Improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Standardized Work, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Experience conducting time studies, labor analysis, workflow design, capacity planning, and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, ERP/MRP systems, Power BI, and manufacturing performance metrics.
  • Preferred experience in heavy manufacturing, machining, forging, steel, foundry, or industrial production operations.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to walk and stand throughout a manufacturing facility for extended periods.
  • Ability to climb stairs, access production areas, and occasionally climb ladders.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when necessary.
  • Must be able to work safely in industrial environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, machinery, and required PPE.

Job Duties

  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve safety and quality.
  • Analyze production workflows, material flow, labor utilization, cycle times, downtime, scrap rates, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Conduct Kaizen events, time studies, and process optimization projects to improve throughput and operational efficiency.
  • Develop standardized work instructions, manufacturing best practices, plant layouts, and workstation designs.
  • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Safety, and HR teams to drive performance improvements.
  • Perform root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, Pareto Analysis, and FMEA.
  • Support capital projects, new product launches, capacity planning, and manufacturing transitions.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reports to communicate performance trends and recommendations to leadership.
