Job Summary:
- Support automotive BIW manufacturing and robotic engineering projects.
- Conduct plant investigations, feasibility studies, and developmental engineering.
- Perform robotic simulation, reach studies, weld distribution, and cycle-time analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct plant investigations and feasibility studies.
- Perform interference/clearance analysis.
- Distribute weld spots across robots while meeting cycle-time requirements.
- Create problem-tracking charts and develop multiple engineering solutions.
- Write equipment, robot, and process specifications.
- Perform robot reach studies and simulations for:
- Support new model introduction on existing production lines.
- Support production ramp-up, line innovation, and line renovation.
- Provide knowledge/support for Weld, Paint, and Final Assembly processes.
- Coordinate with customers, onsite teams, and offshore engineering teams.
- Manage project activities and ensure timely execution.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Automotive BIW Manufacturing
- 3DX Robotic Simulation MUST
- DELMIA V5 Preferred
- Robotic simulation/reach studies
- Weld/Sealing/Handling processes
- Interference & clearance analysis
- Cycle-time analysis

Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
