Seeking an experienced engineer to strengthen the industrial maturity of a global supplier base in complex manufacturing environments. This role focuses on improving supplier production systems, capacity planning, and operational stability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to scale best practices. The position supports supplier capability building, system robustness, and supply chain resilience through data-driven improvement initiatives and structured methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose supplier production constraints and drive improvements using capacity modeling, bottleneck/constraint analysis, flow optimization, and lead-time reduction.
Improve supplier production systems by establishing KPI frameworks, operating routines, and performance monitoring.
Support supplier capability development in manufacturing processes, production technologies, and operations management.
Translate enterprise priorities into structured supplier development programs and improvement initiatives.
Develop standard work, process playbooks, and training materials to scale operational best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, engineering, quality, and operations in a matrix environment.
Utilize data analytics, digital tools, and AI-based decision support to improve production performance and supplier stability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience improving production systems, manufacturing operations, and supplier capability in complex industrial environments.
Strong analytical skills with experience using data analytics, performance metrics, and digital manufacturing tools.
Ability to document processes and deliver training, coaching, and continuous improvement frameworks.
Experience working in matrix organizations and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
