Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing and assembly operations in Appleton, WI. The ideal candidate will have strong shop-floor manufacturing experience within the automotive or off-highway industry, with expertise in Lean Manufacturing, time studies, line balancing, Value Stream Mapping, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities
Study assembly lines and manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement using Lean Manufacturing principles.
Conduct time studies, including elemental breakdown and video time studies for operators and workstations.
Perform line balancing and analyze VA/NVA/RNVA activities to identify waste and improve productivity.
Develop current-state and future-state Value Stream Maps (VSM).
Identify bottlenecks, waste, inefficiencies, and capacity constraints through process and data analysis.
Perform capacity analysis and current-state baselining.
Identify process and productivity improvement opportunities and develop implementation roadmaps.
Develop, update, and maintain Standard Work Instructions and video work instructions.
Perform root cause analysis for quality issues, defects, downtime, and process failures.
Support Kaizen and Continuous Improvement initiatives, including corrective actions and implementation plans.
Support fixture and tooling design based on manufacturing requirements.
Collaborate with production, quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
5–7 years of Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering experience.
Mandatory hands-on shop-floor manufacturing experience.
Experience in automotive or off-highway manufacturing strongly preferred.
