Summary: 

  • Applies industrial engineering concepts, techniques, and analysis to promote and implement changes in manufacturing, engineering, and service operations.

  • Independently develops models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data including statistics, operations research, and engineering economics.

  • Provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to customers including management, departments, and suppliers.

  • Applies advanced industrial engineering techniques to product and process design teams throughout all phases of product lifecycle.

  • Researches, designs, develops, improves, and implements processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality.

  • Applies advanced Lean and other Industrial Engineering concepts for large scale systems integration and asset utilization.

  • Manages, defines, negotiates, and controls scope, cost, and timing of projects using project management tools including work break-down structure, precedence network, and resource allocation.

  • Utilizes advanced engineering methods including mathematical models, simulation, and statistics to develop optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources.

  • Analyzes and designs value stream including capability, capacity, throughput, work flow, and logistics.

  • Designs, develops, analyzes, tests, evaluates, and implements processes and technology insertions to optimize production system design and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement.

  • 2+ years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.

  • 2+ years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, or production environment.

  • Preferred: Skilled in effective time management, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Preferred: 2 or more years of experience working in a team environment.

  • Preferred: 2 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles.

  • Preferred: Experience developing and deploying standard processes.

  • Preferred: Proficient in structured problem solving.

  • Preferred: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
