By midday, you’ve traced a component-level fault on a PLC using schematics and an oscilloscope. By late afternoon, you’ve documented your repairs, verified performance on the test stand, and buttoned up a touchscreen HMI—ready to ship. That’s a typical day for our Industrial Electronics Bench Repair Specialist.

Role Snapshot

• Work Setting: 100% on-site at our Euless, TX facility
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

What You’ll Tackle

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electronics down to the component level.
• Service a wide range of equipment: AC/DC drives, PLCs, HMIs/touchscreens, monitors, power supplies, chart recorders, temperature controllers, counters, and related systems.
• Perform full functional testing and run equipment under load when applicable to confirm reliability and performance.
• Diagnose failures using schematics, technical documentation, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, function generators, and other test instruments.
• Execute precision soldering and component replacement with a high degree of accuracy.
• Research and source replacement components and parts as needed.
• Document all repairs, tests, parts used, and work performed on each work order.
• Keep your bench clean, organized, and safe while meeting quality and productivity goals in a fast-paced repair environment.

What You Bring

• Hands-on background repairing industrial electronic equipment.
• Expertise in component-level troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics.
• Strong soldering and de-soldering technique.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and other electronic test tools.
• Comfort using computers to document work accurately.
• Sharp analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple repairs.
• Self-directed work style with clear, professional communication.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced production setting.
