When the clock strikes 11:00 PM, you’re the go-to expert who keeps production moving. As an Industrial Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician (480V), you’ll diagnose and repair equipment, stabilize electrical and mechanical systems, and make sure operations stay safe and reliable.
Schedule & Pay
- Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Pay: $30.00 per hour
- Full-time role with overtime, weekend, and alternate shift availability as needed
A Night in the Role
- Pinpoint electrical faults in low- and high-voltage distribution, including 3-phase systems up to 450V–480V, motor starters, VFDs, panels, sensors, and control circuits.
- Restore and maintain mechanical assemblies—conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, belts, and chains—to keep throughput steady.
- Diagnose failures, determine root causes, and reduce unplanned downtime across production lines.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance routines to extend asset life.
- Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) every time before servicing or repair—safety first.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and OEM manuals.
- Use meters and diagnostic tools to test components and verify system integrity.
- Replace and install motors, controls, sensors, switches, electrical components, and mechanical parts.
- Assist with installs, upgrades, rebuilds, and equipment modifications.
- Respond rapidly to breakdowns and get production back on track.
- Document work performed, parts used, and equipment conditions with clarity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve reliability and minimize downtime.
- Keep your area clean, orderly, and safe; follow all company and electrical safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- Advanced electrical troubleshooting ability and diagnostic know-how.
- Hands-on experience with 3-phase systems up to 450V–480V, VFDs, motor starters, and controls.
- Solid mechanical repair skills across motors, conveyors, pumps, and power transmission.
- Proven Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) knowledge and practice.
- Comfort reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Proficiency with electrical test instruments and diagnostic equipment.
- Preventive/predictive maintenance familiarity and a root-cause mindset.
- Ability to work safely around energized and moving machinery per procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as needed.
- Comfort in environments that can be hot, cold, wet, noisy, and physically demanding.
- Clear communication and strong organizational habits.
