    Description

    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal apprenticeship or technical degree in electrical technology is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a high-tech manufacturing or medical device environment.
    • Deep proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) diagnostics is highly preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E safety standards.
    • Ability to work on micro-scale components and high-voltage systems with extreme attention to detail.
    • Experience wiring and troubleshooting electrical panels
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/man-lifts as required for equipment maintenance

    Responsibilities:
    • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on high-precision manufacturing systems, including high-speed extruders, rotary braiders, and planetary cablers.
    • Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues involving AC/DC drives, PLC systems, HMI panels, and advanced sensors.
    • Maintain and calibrate automated laser stripping equipment to ensure micro-sized insulation removal meets medical-grade tolerances.
    • Install and wire new machinery, ensuring all electrical configurations comply with local codes and company safety protocols.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve equipment efficiency and mitigate EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) issues within the braiding and cabling processes.
    • Maintain accurate logs of electrical repairs, inspections, and parts inventory to ensure compliance with medical manufacturing regulations
