We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Electrician to join our team in Pearland, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a solid understanding of blueprint and specification interpretation. This role requires hands-on expertise in wiring systems, switchgear, and industrial electrical components, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and execute electrical work based on blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in industrial environments.
- Work with and troubleshoot switchgear, control panels, transformers, and distribution systems.
- Perform conduit bending, cable pulling, and termination of wiring systems.
- Ensure all installations comply with NEC (National Electrical Code) and company safety standards.
- Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions on time.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
- Follow all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Industrial or Commercial Electrician.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical specifications.
- Hands-on experience with switchgear, wiring systems, and electrical installations.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical systems.
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment and tools effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in industrial environments, including exposure to noise, heights, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work in Pearland, TX.
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical certification or license (Journeyman or equivalent preferred).
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with PLC systems is a plus.
