Description
Title: Industrial Electrician - Panel Builder
Location: Belvidere, IL
Hire Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift: First Shift, Monday to Friday
Compensation: $30.00 - $38.00/hr

- 2+ years industrial electrical experience
- Must have control panel wiring

- Proven experience and ability to read electrical schematics

- PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, and drives
Overview:
Seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician with proven experience assembling, wiring, installing, and troubleshooting electrical systems for automated machinery. Candidates must have 2+ years of industrial electrical experience, must be able to read electrical schematics, and must have proven control panel and machinery wiring experience.
Job Duties:
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels.
- Wire and install electrical components on automated machinery.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, panel layouts, and engineering drawings.
- Perform point-to-point wiring of panels and field devices.
- Install PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, drives, relays, and other electrical components.
- Support machine startup, power-up, checkout, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and correct electrical issues during machine builds.
- Follow electrical codes, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must have 2+ years of proven industrial electrical experience in manufacturing or automation.
- Must have proven experience wiring control panels and automated machinery.
- Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Must have strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, and drives.
- Experience with custom automation or special machinery preferred.
- Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC experience preferred.
- Electrical certification, technical training, or apprenticeship preferred.
