Industrial Electrician

Industrial Electrician Education and Experience: Technical training in Industrial Electrical Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Electromechanical Technology, or a related discipline preferred. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment and systems throughout an industrial manufacturing facility.

The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment and systems throughout an industrial manufacturing facility.

Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $26.00–$32.00/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Fixed 2-2-3 schedule, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

Industrial Electrician Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical failures and restore production equipment to service.
• Diagnose electrical faults involving critical plant equipment and systems.
• Perform repairs and improvements designed to increase equipment reliability and safety.
• Inspect electrical systems and identify potential hazards or equipment concerns.
• Support maintenance of plant electrical distribution equipment.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot backup power-generation equipment as required.
• Identify required electrical spare parts and replacement components.
• Complete and document maintenance work orders.
• Record repairs, failures, parts usage, and equipment history.
• Coordinate electrical maintenance activities with production and maintenance personnel.
• Apply proper LOTO and electrical-safety procedures.
• Perform maintenance activities in compliance with plant safety and operational requirements.

Industrial Electrician Skills and Abilities:

• Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Understanding of industrial electrical systems and power distribution.
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of generators and backup-power systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and LOTO procedures.
• Ability to work independently during equipment failures.
• CMMS or ERP maintenance-system experience preferred.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong safety mindset and communication skills.
• Ability to work a fixed day or night 12-hour schedule.

Industrial Electrician Education and Experience:

• Technical training in Industrial Electrical Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Electromechanical Technology, or a related discipline preferred.
• Hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience required.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing, metal-processing, or heavy industrial facility strongly preferred.
• Equivalent hands-on industrial electrical experience will be considered.
