    Description

    Are you a skilled Industrial Electrician looking for a rewarding career with an innovative company? We are seeking a motivated, safety-focused professional to join our client’s growing team in Greenville, South Carolina.Responsibilities include:
    • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on new locomotive assemblies.
    • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems, both in the shop and while supporting customers in the field.
    • Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, company standards, and customer specifications.
    • Work safely using industry-standard tools, equipment, and procedures.
    • Collaborate with engineering, project management, sales, and production teams to deliver high-quality locomotives.
    • Provide technical support to customers over the phone and during onsite service visits.
    • Help maintain exceptional customer service.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Must have  a minimum of 5 years of Industrial Electrician experience.
    • Must have experience with:
      • Low-voltage AC and DC circuits
      • 480 VAC three-phase power
      • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
      • PLCs
      • Motors and generators
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Ability to travel periodically throughout the United States and Canada.
    • Must possess a valid passport or be willing to obtain one.
    • Periodic travel to customer locations throughout the United States and Canada is required to support locomotive commissioning, troubleshooting, and service.
    • Complete periodic background checks.
    • Participate in drug screenings as required by customer facilities.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Associate's degree in Electrical & Mechanical Technology or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
    • 2+ years of industrial manufacturing experience.
    • Experience with diesel engines or diesel mechanics.
    • Interest in learning the mechanical systems of locomotives, including diesel engines and gearboxes.
