Industrial Electrician

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and production equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting safe and efficient operations through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, motors, drives, and power distribution equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and control system issues to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical components.
• Work with PLCs, sensors (flow, level, temperature), and industrial control systems.
• Run conduit, pull wire, and safely connect/disconnect equipment.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safely work within electrical panels.
• Use hand and power tools safely and maintain shop equipment.
• Support installation and maintenance of plant and facility electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (apprenticeship or military training accepted).
• 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, 3-phase power, variable frequency drives, and industrial controls.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and rotating equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights up to 25 feet.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude with the ability to accept and provide constructive feedback.
