Our client, a leading organization in the industrial sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Electrician to join their team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be an essential part of the maintenance department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Industrial Electrician
Location: Dayton, OH
Pay rate: $35 to $38/hr
What's the Job?
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems in industrial settings
Read technical diagrams and blueprints to ensure work complies with relevant codes and standards
Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures
Use testing devices to identify electrical issues and perform routine preventative maintenance
Conduct inspections to determine if repairs or replacements are necessary, ensuring safety and efficiency
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including PLCs and high-voltage systems
Proficiency in using hand and power tools, electrical testing meters, and analyzing schematics and technical diagrams
Ability to troubleshoot and think critically to resolve electrical issues efficiently
State certification or license as required by local regulations; completion of an electrical apprenticeship is preferred
