Join trak group in partnering with a manufacturing client seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and production equipment. This hands-on position will work with motors, transformers, instrumentation, PLC-related systems, and industrial electrical components while supporting preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical systems and industrial production equipment.
Set up and operate equipment according to established industry and safety standards.
Clean, inspect, and repair motors, transformers, and substation connections.
Install, adjust, and maintain electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instruments.
Calibrate, repair, and replace electrical components and parts.
Troubleshoot equipment issues using PLCs and related diagnostic methods.
Perform electrical testing and maintain flame detection equipment.
Complete preventive maintenance inspections and required repairs.
Identify materials and replacement parts needed for maintenance assignments.
Order replacement components and parts as necessary.
Respond to equipment issues and support efforts to minimize production downtime.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience.
Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Experience troubleshooting equipment using PLC systems.
Knowledge of industrial motors, transformers, electrical components, and instrumentation.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance and diagnose equipment failures.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong safety awareness and ability to follow established procedures.
Ability to work in confined or restricted spaces when required.
Ability to climb and safely work at elevated heights.
Ability to meet the physical demands of an industrial maintenance environment.
Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Experience with electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instrumentation.
Experience calibrating industrial instruments and electrical components.
Familiarity with substations and transformer maintenance.
Experience maintaining flame detection or similar industrial safety systems.
Manufacturing or heavy industrial maintenance experience.
