    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    The Industrial Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and upgrading complex controls, low to medium voltage electrical distribution systems.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Use computers, PLC's, voltage meters and current meters to troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical and control systems
    • Utilize information obtained from engineering drawings, electrical schematics and diagrams, simple and complex sketches, other related documents, and verbal field instructions needed to perform assigned duties
    • Perform work tasks from SAP generated work descriptions and orders
    • Complete accurate records and reports as needed in SAP plant maintenance module and Fiori
    • Willing to support general Operations and Maintenance functions outside of Electrical responsibilities
    • Willing and able to work when called outside of regular working hours for Operations and Maintenance support

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must be 18 years or older
    • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
    • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required
    • Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US
    • Must be drug free
    • 4 years electrical/electronic/instrumentation experience in industrial/manufacturing environment. Combination of college and experience will be considered
    • Stand for extended and prolonged periods of time.
    • Climb and work from ladders, both portable and fixed
    • Climb stairs

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

    • Two years Associate degree in electrical or Electronic Systems Technology is preferred but not required

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Knowledgeable and skilled in 3-phase AC motors and motor control centers (MCCs), power distribution systems (to 25.5 kV AC), Servo drive systems, Allen-Bradley PLCs and Rockwell VFDs
    • Able to install electrical panels, conduit and wiring per local, state and federal safety codes
    • Able to read technical diagrams and schematics
    • General knowledge of Microsoft office suite
