Position Overview
The Panel Wire Technician will build, wire, and test custom electrical control panels in a manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on experience with electrical wiring, the ability to interpret schematics, and the assembly of control systems while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical documents to ensure accurate panel wiring
- Wire components such as relays, PLCs, switches, transformers, and circuit breakers
- Measure, bend, and install conduit runs to support panel installations
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Ensure all work meets safety guidelines, industry standards, and internal quality checks
- Lift and position parts or panels as needed during assembly and installation
Qualifications
- Previous experience wiring electrical control panels or performing similar industrial electrical work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Familiarity with conduit bending and installation techniques
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment
- High School Diploma or GED required;technical training in electrical or industrial systems preferred
