Opportunity Overview
- Duration: 3–6 months on-site in Virginia
- Rate: $34/hour
- Schedule: 50+ hours/week guaranteed
- Per Diem: $45/day tax-free (7 days/week)
- Lodging: Private, single-occupancy hotel provided

Your Role
- Fabricate and install refrigeration and water subassemblies integral to commercial HVAC equipment.
- Cut, bend, and fit copper tubing; assemble and braze components to specification.
- Perform precise brazing on copper-to-copper, copper-to-stainless, and copper-to-brass joints using oxy-acetylene and silver fillers.
- Handle large-diameter piping work (approx. 2-1/8" to 4"+) while ensuring leak-free performance.
- Interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, BOMs, ECNs, and work instructions.
Must-Haves
- At least 3 years of recent commercial/industrial brazing experience (residential-only background does not meet requirements).
- Hands-on experience with large-diameter copper beyond typical residential scopes.
- Proficiency using oxy-acetylene torches and silver-based brazing alloys.
- Ability to read prints and technical documents using metric and standard units.
- Pro knowledge of heat control, joint prep, and best practices for copper and mixed-metal brazing.
- Familiarity with refrigeration or commercial HVAC systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence with hand/power tools.
- Dedication to quality outcomes and safe work habits.
