    Overview

    Report to the Electrical Lead and play a hands-on role in assembling and wiring industrial control panels. You’ll partner closely with a lead panel builder to translate schematics into clean, accurate builds that meet project timelines.

    A day in the role

    • Start with a safety-first mindset before every task.
    • Review electrical schematics and component documentation with the lead panel builder to plan the day’s build.
    • Wire control panels precisely to drawings, checking labels, routing, and terminations for accuracy.
    • Collaborate continuously with the Electrical Lead to keep work on schedule and resolve questions quickly.
    • Verify each panel against schematics to ensure correctness and quality.
    • Maintain, clean, and organize hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, and your work area.
    • Head to customer facilities when needed to assist with equipment installation and wiring; expect environments that can be hot, cold, or dirty.
    • Complete assigned tasks accurately within the allotted timeline; take on other duties as needed.
    • Actively support BCT’s Culture and Core Values.

    What you’ll bring

    • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents.
    • Skilled with common panel-building tools: hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
    • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
    • Organized, detail-focused, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
    • Basic computer proficiency.
    • Knowledge of electrical wiring, panel building, and troubleshooting is a plus.
