    Description

Industrial Controls Field Service Specialist (Water/Wastewater)

    Location: North Kansas City, MO
    Employment Type: Full-Time
    Compensation: $30.00–$40.00/hour

    A Day in the Field

Morning: You scan the day’s work orders, load parts, and head to a municipal lift station. A VFD is throwing intermittent faults—you isolate the issue, verify wiring, and bring the pump train back online.

Midday: A plant calls about a drifting level transmitter. You calibrate the instrument, validate readings against process conditions, and document findings for the operator.

Afternoon: You retrofit a control panel, land new conductors, commission a specialty pump controller, and verify HMI setpoints. Before you wrap up, you brief the customer and update the team.

Evening (as needed): You’re on-call as an Emergency Field Service Responder—ready to travel and assist outside normal hours when a customer needs immediate support.
