Step Into a Day-in-the-Life

At our Mooresville, NC facility, you’ll be the go-to expert when advanced electrical challenges appear. Your day starts at 7:00 AM with a review of work orders and a check-in with the Maintenance Manager you report to. By mid-morning, you might be tracing a fault across 120/208/240/480V power systems, swapping a servo motor, or fine-tuning an Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC to get a production line back online. In the afternoon, you could be installing new controls hardware or assisting with upgrades that touch hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems—because our in-house electrical bench is lean, your expertise is pivotal.

Schedule & Pay

  • Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
  • Compensation: Starting pay rate from $32.78–$43.71 depending on experience – paid weekly

What You’ll Handle

  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical issues, PLCs, and PC-based controls
  • Install, wire, and program PLC hardware (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron; Fanuc exposure a plus)
  • Work across power distribution at 120/208/240/480V
  • Partner with maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, welding/fabrication, and mechanical blueprints
  • Own your toolbox and use it safely and effectively

Your Background

  • HS Diploma or equivalency; 2-year Electro-Mechanical technical degree preferred
  • 3–5 years of related industrial electrical experience
  • Proficient with PLC troubleshooting, programming, and wiring
  • Comfortable reading mechanical and electrical blueprints
  • Knowledgeable in hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic welding/fabrication concepts
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Omron systems preferred
  • Team-oriented, flexible to work overtime and off shifts as needed
  • Punctuality and dependable attendance are essential for long-term success

Physical & Work Environment

  • Stand, walk, or sit for most tasks; frequent walking distances over 500 feet
  • Regular reaching, handling, fingering, and feeling
  • Frequent body rotation up to 180 degrees
  • Visual acuity for near/far, color, and depth perception; corrected vision with glasses/contacts acceptable
  • Frequent stair climbing to access parts supplies
  • Occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or talking
  • Lift up to 50 lbs; occasional pushing/pulling
  • Operate controls using both hands/arms and both feet/legs
  • Indoor work 100%; close proximity to others and heavy teamwork
  • Production floor may exceed 95°F in summer; occasional vibration from shakers/grinders
  • Mild plastic odor is constant; occasional battery fluid odor during lift battery changes
  • PPE required: safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, proper footwear; hair nets required on production floor and in the warehouse
