    Position Summary:

    The Industrial Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing industrial construction and installation projects from mobilization through completion. This position requires extensive travel to job sites and involves coordinating crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, schedules, safety, and quality while ensuring projects are completed according to specifications and deadlines.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage industrial construction projects and field installation activities at customer job sites.
    • Travel extensively to project locations throughout the U.S. as required.
    • Supervise construction crews, subcontractors, foremen, and other field personnel.
    • Coordinate mechanical, structural, piping, electrical, equipment installation, and related construction activities.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, specifications, P&IDs, and project documentation.
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, manpower requirements, and daily work plans.
    • Monitor project progress, productivity, costs, materials, and equipment.
    • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
    • Ensure work complies with OSHA requirements, company safety policies, and site-specific safety procedures.
    • Conduct jobsite meetings, safety meetings, inspections, and progress reviews.
    • Identify field problems and coordinate solutions to prevent project delays.
    • Manage change orders, field documentation, daily reports, and project closeout activities.
    • Ensure installations meet quality standards and customer specifications.
    • Oversee startup, commissioning, punch-list completion, and turnover when applicable.

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Strong industrial construction management or superintendent experience.
    • Experience managing industrial mechanical, piping, structural, electrical, or equipment-installation projects.
    • Strong leadership and crew-management abilities.
    • Comfortable working in active industrial and manufacturing environments.
    • Able to read construction drawings and technical documentation.
    • Strong understanding of construction safety and OSHA requirements.
    • Willing and able to travel extensively and remain at project sites for extended periods.
    • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
    • Valid driver's license and ability to meet travel requirements.
