Industrial Carpentry Fabrication Technician

Step into a hands-on role where craftsmanship meets production. In this position, you’ll support manufacturing operations by building and repairing wooden components, interpreting drawings, and keeping safety at the forefront on a busy shop floor.

A day in the role

You start your shift reviewing work orders and drawings. With tape measure in hand, you verify dimensions, set up your bench, and select the right hand and power tools for the task. Through the day you’ll:

• Construct and repair wooden assemblies and fixtures to spec
• Read and interpret measurements (down to precise fractions) with a tape measure
• Follow drawings, diagrams, and build instructions accurately
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment

What you bring

• Background in carpentry or construction
• Confidence with common shop tools and equipment
• Ability to read a tape measure and translate drawings into finished parts
• Commitment to safe work practices in a production setting
