Industrial Base & Production Economics Analyst, TS/SCI

The Industrial Base & Production Economics Analyst will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of cutting-edge initiatives to advance the mission.This role focuses on understanding and enabling the U.S. industrial base to rapidly scale production of critical capabilities, with emphasis on real-world constraints, cost, and speed.Required experience:5+ years of experience in manufacturing strategy, production systems analysis, industrial economics, supply chain analysis, or operations researchExperience analyzing OEM and multi-tier supplier networks, including production throughput, bottlenecks, and cost structuresDemonstrated ability to build and apply quantitative models of production systems (capacity, elasticity, scale-up vs. scale-out, mobilization timelines)Experience working with or supporting manufacturing operations, production environments, or industrial programsStrong ability to synthesize technical, economic, and operational data into clear, decision-relevant insights.Desired Capabilities and Characteristics:Experience in high-volume or capital-intensive industries (automotive, semiconductors, electronics, aerospace, heavy machinery,logistics)Familiarity with factory modeling, discrete-event simulation, or supply chain risk analysisExperience mapping and analyzing complex supply chains, including identification of critical dependencies and constraintsExperience with cost modeling, make/buy decisions, or capital expenditure planningExperience analyzing or planning for rapid scale-up, surge production, or time-constrained operationsExperience working across government, industry, and public-private partnershipsAbility to operate and make recommendations under uncertainty with incomplete or imperfect dataExposure to defense manufacturing, munitions, or DoW platforms preferredUnderstanding of industrial policy, reindustrialization, or supply chain resilienceProficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis/visualization toolsExcellent written and oral communication skillsOther duties as assigned.Degree Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, or related field.

Salary range for the position is $150,000 - $250,000 per year. Specific compensation will be determined by several factors including experience, education, skills, and knowledge. We also offer medical/dental/vision benefits and 401k contribution.
