What Your Days Look Like

You’ll split your time between the lab, the shop floor, and customer sites—programming control systems, integrating robotics, configuring machine vision, and bringing automated equipment to life. One moment you’re fine-tuning system logic; the next, you’re shoulder-to-shoulder with technicians verifying I/O, resolving issues, and pushing systems into production.

The Impact You’ll Make

• Program, integrate, and commission industrial controls, robotics, and automated equipment.
• Set up and refine machine vision applications to meet production goals.
• Troubleshoot startup challenges and drive issues to root cause.
• Bridge the mechanical, electrical, controls, and robotic aspects of complex systems to ensure everything works together seamlessly.

• Hands-on approach—comfortable working directly with equipment and tools.
• Systems thinker who understands how mechanical, electrical, controls, and robotic components interconnect.
• Experience supporting integration, startup, and problem diagnosis on automated equipment.
