Help People Breathe Better at Home
Prado's Plumbing, Heating & Air is looking for an Indoor Air Quality Specialist to help homeowners create cleaner, healthier, and more comfortable indoor environments.
This is a specialized position focused on identifying indoor-air concerns and recommending practical solutions. You'll work with homeowners to understand issues such as excessive dust, humidity, odors, poor ventilation, and inconsistent airflow, then help determine which solutions may improve their home.
What You'll Do
- Meet with homeowners and discuss indoor-air concerns
- Evaluate basic indoor-air and comfort conditions
- Identify opportunities to improve filtration, ventilation, humidity control, and airflow
- Recommend appropriate indoor-air-quality solutions
- Explain options clearly without high-pressure sales tactics
- Coordinate with HVAC technicians and installation teams
- Perform or assist with installation of qualifying IAQ equipment
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate customer and project records
- Educate homeowners on proper system maintenance and operation
Solutions You May Work With
Depending on customer needs, solutions may include:
- Whole-home air filtration
- Air purification systems
- Humidification and dehumidification
- Ventilation systems
- Air cleaners
- UV/air-treatment equipment
- High-efficiency filtration
- Ductwork and airflow improvements

- Able to work independently while supporting the Prado's team
HVAC, plumbing, home-performance, construction, or residential sales experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
Pay & Benefits
$27–$36 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
