Avail Health & Behavioral Solutions, LLC is seeking a Direct Care Provider to join our registry network as an independent contractor. In this role, you will provide one-on-one community support for a 30-year-old male on the autism spectrum. Routine care includes acting as a companion and mentor to help the client practice social skills in the real world. The client is approved for up to 25 hours per week, but he wants to start off around 5 hours per week to get acclimated. As soon as he is more comfortable with the routine, the hours can increase. This is a great opportunity for experienced caregivers, special needs teachers, and retired behavioral professionals.

Services are typically funded by Medicaid, private insurance, or the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). We do not operate out of a facility, and all caregivers operate as 1099 independent contractors providing 1-on-1 care in the client's home and/or community. What do you need to apply?

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for professional use (gas/mileage not reimbursed)
• Ability to pass a Level II Background Screening
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs
• Demonstrated ability to manage client care and safety with limited supervision
• Personal smartphone required for app-based scheduling and client communication
• CPR/First Aid Certification (required within 30 days of onboarding)
• APD Training Certificates (required within 30 days of onboarding)
• CNA, BLS, HHA, or DSP certifications preferred (not required)

Contract Terms Disclosure
This is an Independent Contractor (1099) position, not a W-2 employment role. Contractors are strictly responsible for their own tax obligations (including self-employment taxes) and are not eligible for company-sponsored benefits, health insurance, or paid time off.
