Direct Impact Logistics is looking for an Owner-Operator/Independent Service Provider Driving Team for furniture delivery routes with basic assembly and drop off service.
Average Weekly Gross: $3-4,000 / Week.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform timely and accurate furniture deliveries, including in-home assembly and installation.
- Properly select and use basic hand tools to assemble and install furniture.
- Adjust, assemble, and install a variety of furniture items according to manufacturer and company standards.
- Safely load and unload furniture while providing a professional in-home White Glove delivery experience.
- scheduled 2-day delivery routes & 1 Day routes.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach throughout each delivery.
Requirements:
- 26-foot box truck with lift gate.
- Provide a two-person delivery team.
- Must have a complete personal set of tools required for furniture assembly and installation.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Driver must have an active MC and DOT number registered with FMCSA.
- Previous professional experience in furniture delivery, assembly, installation, or a willingness to learn the trade.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, load, and unload furniture throughout the delivery process.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, professional, and committed to maintaining White Glove service standards.
