Income Tax Accounting Specialist

System One is assisting a Tulsa company with a search for an Income Tax Accounting Specialist. The successful candidate will work with others who excel in their areas of expertise. Responsibilities:

• Review federal, state, and local income tax returns for the corporation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Develop and implement tax optimization strategies to minimize tax liability
• Mentor others on the team and assist in their professional development
• Manage research and support for corporate income tax federal and state tax audits
• Review and assist with calculating the annual forecast for the income tax accrual

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting with 8-12 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with creating report queries for data manipulation
• Ability to lead teams, manage workflows, and meet strict deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex regulations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle sensitive information
• Great attitude with a strong work ethic

Salary: $130K - $150K
