Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Special Education and Director of Early Learning Support, provides on-site coaching, planning and support to community programs, and districts with a continuum of inclusion opportunities for children with special needs and disabilities, birth to 5 years of age using evidenced based practices; supports programs to develop action plans based on root cause analysis, and provides professional development seminars to community programs, and districts. Any employment offer is contingent upon successful completion of a reference check, fingerprint clearance, misconduct verification clearance (AB 2534 & SB 848), verification and maintenance of all required credentials, transcripts, and/or certificates necessary to perform the duties of the position, and current medical verification demonstrating that the employee is free from active tuberculosis.

  • Bachelor's degree in education or closely related field. Master's preferred. • Three years of special education/general education classroom experience in inclusive settings coaching or teaching.
