A nonprofit organization in Western New York is actively seeking a new Incident Management Investigator Specialist I to join their team onsite in Niagara Falls. This on-site role supports the review and documentation of incident investigations, helping ensure records are complete, accurate, and aligned with established protocols.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm or9am to 5pm
Setting: Office
Responsibilities:
- Support the incident investigation process by reviewing files, documentation, and related records
- Prepare clear, objective reports and draft final investigative documentation.
- Track follow-ups, requests for additional information, and completeness of case materials
- Assist with interviews and collaborate with investigative and quality assurance staff
- Maintain accurate records and ensure work is completed according to established protocols and deadlines
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of relevant work experience
- Associate's Degree
- Administrative experience
- Experience with incident management or OPWDD-related work
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage documentation, data entry, and written summaries accurately
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a related human services field
- Experience reviewing investigative or compliance-related documentation
- Familiarity with report writing and file reconciliation
- Experience in a paperless office environment
