Inbound PIT Operator - Order Picker / Reach Truck

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM

Role Summary:

Seeking an experienced PIT operator with proficiency in operating stand-up forklifts and reach trucks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role involves safely handling warehouse materials, supporting efficient product movement, and maintaining organized work processes to meet productivity and safety standards. A good fit demonstrates reliability, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic setting.

Core Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Order Picker and Reach Truck to pick, move, stage, and put away products throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload materials in accordance with warehouse procedures
• Accurately complete assigned tasks ensuring productivity expectations are met
• Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse protocols to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed, including inventory support and material handling tasks
• Utilize RF scanners to select and track inventory items
• Perform order picking and packing using relevant systems and tools
• Ensure proper load securing and equipment checks before and after use
• Report any safety hazards or equipment issues immediately to supervisors
• Operate load/unload equipment efficiently to support warehouse operations

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating Orders and Reach Trucks in a warehouse setting
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy warehouse environment

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience with RF scanning systems
• Knowledge of order picking and packing processes

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• Ability to operate forklifts and reach trucks safely
• Capable of lifting and handling loads of 20 lbs or more
• Standing, walking, and working in a warehouse setting for extended periods
• Adherence to safety protocols and use of PPE as required
