Job Description: Inbound Supervisor
Summary
This position is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, supervising staff and ensuring a safe work environment.
Daily Responsibilities
- Correct any issues from daily PRIMA report-assure all is received into Prima
- Monitor- clerks, forklift operators and labor during daily operations
- Ensure procedures are being followed correctly
- Address any workflow issues immediately to include priority
- Move Labor, Clerks, Forklift operators where needed, ability to adapt
- Documentation accuracy -review inbound and outbound paperwork
Communication
- Notify Operations Manager of issues or delays
- Communicate with team for clarity on orders
- Escalate any missing or incorrect information
- Ensure inventory records are up to date
- Report summary of any issues or corrections
- Review and respond in a timely manner to daily e-mails, from CSR’s, Inventory Management etc.
Process -Compliance
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)-assure that team is adhering to all SOP’s
- Assure everyone is properly using PPE
- Maintain organized and legible documentation-Keep copies of Workorders and Inventory request

Communication & Computer Skills
- Ability to effectively review, prioritize, and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with Customer Service Representatives (CSR), warehouse personnel, drivers, customers, and management.
- Ability to communicate operational updates, shipment issues, inventory discrepancies, and customer requirements accurately and professionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and business software applications. -learn PRIMA our in-house WMS

Education and/or experience
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse, logistics, or operations supervisory experience required.
- Forklift Operator-(preferred) Sit down propane lift
- Experience supervising warehouse personnel, managing daily workflow, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
- Experience with inventory control, shipping, receiving, container operations, and warehouse audits.
- Familiarity with CME and LME (London Metal Exchange) processes and commodities (preferred, or willingness to learn.)
- Ability to learn and become proficient in PRIMA, in-house Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Language skills
Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language. Ability to write the English language. Ability to speak the English language.
