Job Responsibilities

• Support and operationalize IDOH data governance policies and SOPs.
• Maintain metadata and Dataset Reference Sheets.
• Coordinate centralized data sharing and access governance.
• Author and update data quality rules and policies.
• Deliver data literacy and quality training programs for agency staff.
• Engage with stakeholders to align priorities and communicate governance topics.
• Provide progress reports and oversee updates to the data governance roadmap.

Requirements

• Experience using Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog or similar - 2 years
• Personal and professional integrity with strong work ethics - 2 years
• Relationship Management - 2 years
• Project Oversight - 3 years
• Decision-making skills - 3 years
• Excellent critical thinking, time management, and communication skills - 4 years
• Ability to take critical feedback in stride - 3 years
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - 4 years

• Experience with data lineage tools and methods - 2 years
• Understanding of the data analysis life cycle in a business setting - 3 years
