Primetone LLC is a full-service property services contractor specializing in painting, maintenance, janitorial services, and renovations for multifamily residential communities and commercial properties. We are seeking two skilled and dependable In-House Painters to join our team in North Jersey.
Position Summary
The In-House Painter will be responsible for completing residential and commercial painting projects, with a primary focus on apartment unit painting and turnover preparation. The ideal candidates will have hands-on painting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage their time effectively while meeting daily production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interior painting for residential apartments and commercial properties.
- Prepare surfaces through patching, sanding, caulking, priming, and other necessary preparation.
- Paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other assigned surfaces.
- Complete apartment turnovers, including painting, touch-ups, and finishing work.
- Maintain consistent workmanship and quality standards across all projects.
- Manage materials, tools, and supplies efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.
- Complete a target of 2–3 apartments per day, depending on unit size, condition, and scope of work.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in both commercial and residential painting is required.
- Knowledge of professional painting techniques and surface preparation.
- Ability to identify and correct imperfections before and after painting.
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship.
- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with painting, including standing, bending, reaching, and lifting painting materials.
Compensation and Schedule
- Hourly Pay: $18.00–$21.00, based on qualifications and experience.
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
- Lunch Break: One hour.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Location: North Jersey, with assignments at residential and commercial properties.
