Enjoy working with people and helping homeowners transform their kitchens? Kitchen Tune-Up Akron Canton is seeking a sales consultant who listens well, builds trust, and confidently asks for the sale.
We provide approximately 15–30 company appointments per month, along with paid training to help you learn our services, products, and sales process. Appointment volume varies; this is a role for someone who takes ownership of follow-up and turns opportunities into sales.
Compensation
This position is 100% commission-based after paid training. Your ongoing earnings depend on the projects you sell; there is no ongoing base salary. We will explain commission rates, payment timing, and training compensation during the hiring process.
What you’ll do
Meet with homeowners in their homes and our North Canton showroom.
Understand each customer’s goals, budget, and project timeline.
Help customers explore cabinet restoration, painting, redooring, refacing, and new cabinetry.
Prepare and present proposals, answer questions, and close sales.
Follow up consistently with prospects and keep accurate records in our CRM.
Communicate project details clearly to our team.
Participate in home shows and local events to connect with prospective customers.
What we’re looking for
Sales experience and confidence asking for the sale.
Strong listening, communication, and follow-up skills.
Organization and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn our products and follow a sales process.
Comfort with commission-based compensation.
Reliable transportation for local customer appointments.
Experience in home improvement, furniture, flooring, cabinetry, or other consultative sales is especially relevant.
