Senior Helpers – South Tacoma is actively seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers who are available to work Sundays. Weekend coverage is critical for our clients, and Sunday availability is a high priority for our team. If you are reliable and able to work Sundays consistently, we would love to hear from you.
As a caregiver, you will provide one-on-one support that allows seniors to remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.
We are a woman-owned, family-operated agency committed to creating a supportive and respectful workplace for caregivers while providing exceptional care to our clients.
Whether you are looking for part-time or full-time work, we offer flexible schedules, supportive leadership, and meaningful opportunities to make a real difference every day.
Our caregivers provide individualized care that allows them to build genuine connections with the seniors they serve.
We strongly encourage Washington State Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Care Aides (HCA) to apply. If you already have your certification and experience providing in-home care, we would love to hear from you.
We also welcome applicants who are currently enrolled in a CNA or HCA training program and will be certified soon.
As a caregiver with Senior Helpers, your work may include:
Building meaningful relationships through conversation and companionship
Assisting with activities of daily living such as dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene
Supporting light housekeeping and meal preparation
Engaging clients in hobbies and recreational activities
Observing and reporting changes in client condition
Accompanying clients to appointments, grocery shopping, and community outings
Accurate documentation is an essential part of providing safe, high-quality care. Caregivers are required to complete detailed shift notes in our caregiving app at the end of every visit, documenting the care provided, the client’s condition, and any changes observed.
Clear documentation ensures continuity of care between caregivers and helps keep families and the care team informed.
Caregivers who take pride in thorough documentation and professional communication are highly valued on our team.
To be successful in this role, you should have a genuine heart for caregiving and a strong commitment to reliability, especially for weekend care.
