Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 25 lbs.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active car insurance
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work with clients within 15 miles of your home
- Ability to work at least 18 hours per week
- Availability to work at least one weekend day
- Ability to obtain your HCAC certification if not already certified
Job Expectations
As a Care Professional, you'll help seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes by:
- Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
- Assisting with light housekeeping and laundry
- Preparing nutritious meals
- Helping with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Supporting mobility and maintaining a safe environment
- Providing medication reminders
- Driving clients to appointments, errands, and activities
- Supporting individuals living with Alzheimer's and dementia
- Partnering with families and care teams to provide compassionate, person-centered care
- Offering comfort and support during hospice and end-of-life care
