    Position Summary

    As a Personal Care Assistant, you aren't just completing a list of tasks—you are partnering with each client to help them live as independently, comfortably, and meaningfully as possible.

    What You'll Do

    Depending on the needs of your assigned client, you may:

    • Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals, and other personal-care needs
    • Encourage clients to remain as independent and involved in their own care as possible
    • Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
    • Lead planned or spontaneous life-enrichment activities
    • Provide medication reminders
    • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
    • Provide respite support for families
    • Assist with transportation to pre-arranged appointments or activities
    • Observe changes in a client's health or behavior and communicate concerns
    • Most importantly, help create moments of connection, dignity, purpose, and joy

    You should genuinely enjoy spending time with older adults and be comfortable supporting individuals who may be frail, experiencing memory loss, or need assistance with personal care.

    We especially value someone who can take initiative, remain calm when situations change, communicate well with families and the care team, and bring a positive attitude and sense of humor into someone's day.

    Experience working with older adults is preferred, but just as important is having the heart and character to serve others well.
