Are you passionate about making a difference in maternal and child health? We are seeking a dynamic Community Outreach Specialist to join our team and help expand the reach of our vital programs in the Northern Region of Indiana. This is a remote position based in Indianapolis, IN, with travel required throughout the state.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and support the Moms Helpline initiative by attending community events, conferences, and expos.
- Engage with families, providers, and social service organizations to build strong community relationships.
- Provide information and support to professionals statewide about training opportunities.
- Develop and distribute promotional materials and assist in preparing presentations for community organizations.
- Collaborate with social service agencies and maintain updated contact information for community resources.
- Assist in marketing initiatives and coordinate creative program materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Services, or Early Childhood Education.
- Valid Indiana Driver's License and ability to travel throughout the state.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and families.
- At least 1 year of experience coordinating community outreach efforts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferences:
- Prior marketing experience.
- Experience with state agencies or public health.
