Responsibilities: The Program Director for Internal Medicine guides and has accountability for the operation of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. 5 of the last 7 years of participation as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency program.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: 

 

Graduation from an accredited program of medicine

 

3 of the last 5 years with GME administrative experience

 

5 of the last 7 years of participation as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency program

 

Licensure, Registration, Certification: 

 

Alabama Licensed physician

 

Active registry in good standing by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)

 

One of the following:

• Board Certified M.D.
• Board Certified D.O.

 

One of the following:

• Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Certified by the America Osteopathic Association
