Position Summary
The
Client Implementation Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the implementation team, ensuring successful client onboarding and seamless transition to ongoing services. This role drives team performance, fosters professional development, and enforces best practices in project management, data integrity, and client experience. Acting as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and clients, the Manager ensures timely, accurate implementations while promoting continuous improvement and scalability across processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Leads the successful delivery of client onboarding projects, ensuring accurate HRIS setup, timely payroll execution, and seamless transition to ongoing service teams.
- Serves as a trusted resource for the team, providing guidance on best practices, workflows, compliance requirements, and handling complex client scenarios with consultative expertise.
- Facilitates meetings with Business Consultants and internal stakeholders to review client progress, address challenges, and align on project board initiatives and training needs.
- Ensures superior quality and accuracy of all client implementations by monitoring team performance, enforcing best practices, and driving adherence to timelines and service standards.
- Tracks and analyzes team KPIs, including CSAT scores, implementation cycle times, and error rates; communicates results to senior leadership and recommends actionable improvements.
- Identifies gaps in workflows and collaborates with leadership to implement process enhancements, improve efficiency, and standardize best practices across the team.
- Acts as a liaison between internal departments—such as Payroll, HR, Benefits, and Sales—to ensure alignment on client requirements and smooth handoffs.
- Acts with urgency to resolve first-level internal client escalations and supports team members in troubleshooting complex implementation issues.
- Successfully manages multiple priorities, balancing team workload and project timelines while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Provides ongoing coaching and feedback to team members, assigns tasks strategically, and fosters a culture of accountability and professional growth.
- Proactively shares expertise and consultative insights to enhance team capabilities, improve processes, and standardize best practices across implementations.
- Partners with the AVP to assess team capacity, allocate resources effectively, and refine internal workflows for greater efficiency and scalability.
- Occasionally updates or creates internal guides, templates, and client-facing documentation.
- Assists with candidate interviews, resume reviews, and onboarding plans for new team members.
- Regular, onsite attendance is an essential job function due to the need for secure access to systems, collaboration on sensitive technical matters, participation in operational meetings, and hands-on involvement.
- Some domestic travel may be required to attend team onsite meetings, client visits, customer events, industry conferences, and training sessions. This may include air travel, ground transportation (including cars, taxis, or rideshare services), and in some cases potential public transportation
Marginal Functions
- Build, maintain and promote relationships with team members, peers across disciplines, and all other company team members ensuring effective coordination of communications and services affecting clients.
- Attend webinars and training to stay up to date on best practices related to the company and department.
- Provides documentation or evidence for internal audits, SOC/ISO compliance, and process reviews.
- Generates operational summaries or metrics for leadership upon request.
- Complete projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Demonstrates in-depth understanding of HR outsourcing models, PEO operations, compliance requirements, and best practices for delivering integrated HR, payroll, and benefits solutions.

- Skilled in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting HRIS platforms and CRM tools to support client onboarding, data integrity, and workflow automation.
- Possesses advanced knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and multi-state compliance to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution.
- Applies strong analytical capabilities to interpret client data, identify discrepancies, and develop actionable solutions that improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Effectively manages multiple complex implementation projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and meeting strict deadlines without compromising quality.
- Delivers clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication to clients and internal teams, including training, documentation, and status updates
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree preferred or minimum of 5 years of related experience required, or an equivalent combination of experience, skills, and education (including relevant non-traditional degree programs or job training programs) is preferred.
HRIS/CRM/Systems experience preferred.
Proficiency in CRM tools and basic data analysis.
Experience with PrismHR or similar platforms preferred.
Experience in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) and demonstrated ability to learn other applications as needed.
1-2 years of management/supervisory experience.
Required Licenses And/Or Certifications- Process improvement experience or certification: Six Sigma, Lean, BPM preferred.

Environmental Conditions
Primarily will be an indoor, office environment. May occasionally have moderate noise level from copiers, W2 or check printers, and coworkers. This means adapting to different settings and conditions regularly. This role may involve extended periods of sitting during travel and meetings, as well as standing and walking during client visits and events.
