Implementation Engineer / Telecommunications Engineer III

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Implementation Engineer / Telecommunications Engineer III with strong hands-on experience designing, installing, and supporting in-building telecommunications and broadband network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and install equipment used to transmit broadband data over in-building networks.
- Work hands-on with coax, twisted-pair copper, fiber-optic cabling, complex networks, and switching equipment.
- Coordinate the installation of new in-building networks and telecommunications equipment.
- Evaluate multi-tenant residential and commercial buildings to determine compatibility with different networks and systems.
- Manage large-scale broadband build projects, ensuring timely planning and implementation.
- Produce and maintain accurate technical as-built documentation.
- Provide ad-hoc operational support to local field engineering and sales teams.
- Identify and prevent general work-area hazards while performing field activities.
Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience designing and installing in-building network architectures.
- Knowledge of CATV provider termination points, including terminals and pedestals.
- Hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting coax and Cat6a Ethernet cabling.
- Frontline experience working directly with customers and clients.
- Hands-on experience working from step, extension, or folding ladders.
- Hands-on experience with drilling in multi-dwelling and commercial buildings.
- Must have a vehicle capable of transporting tools and equipment.
Desired Skills
- Experience working with Google Suite and other computer/mobile applications.
- Four-year college degree or equivalent field experience.
- Experience working on multi-dwelling/commercial building rooftops, including flat and/or pitched roofs.
