Job Description:

Implementation Consultant

Location: some remote with up to 80% travel

Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking an Implementation Consultant specializing in cardiology for a contract position. This role requires nationwide travel up to 75%, with all travel expenses covered. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing and improving cardiology imaging and reporting workflows, supporting clinical information systems, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Ideally, they are looking for cardiology techs, cardiovascular techs, radiology techs, nuclear medicine techs, MRI techs, etc. and will provide up to 6 months of training to get you ramped up to go to different facilities and provide customer support and training for implementations and go-lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current-state cardiology imaging and reporting workflows for modalities such as Echo, Cath, and EP, and design future-state improvements.
  • Define and maintain standardized workflows for ordering, scheduling, acquisition, interpretation, reporting, distribution, and billing.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, and governance documentation for cardiology imaging and reporting standards.
  • Provide support for cardiology PACS/CVIS solutions, including the management of worklists, image routing rules, hanging protocols, user preferences, and access/security roles.
  • Coordinate incident triage, vendor engagement, root cause analysis, system upgrades, testing, and go-live support activities.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated pay rate for this position is between $45.00 and $55.00 per hour. Please note that the final pay rate will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidates experience, qualifications, and location. Contract employees may be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
