    Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Immigration Specialist to join our in-house Immigration Team in Austin, TX. This is a hands-on processing role focusing on managing non-immigrant and immigrant petitions end to end, including strategizing, preparing, drafting, and filing.

    The role requires solid expertise across employment-based immigration, including PERM labor certification, nonimmigrant petitions, and immigrant petitions. In-house, you will run the day-to-day work that keeps employees authorized and moving, jumping in to draft and own complex matters and responses without waiting to be assigned to them.

    The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced corporate environment, possesses deep expertise in business immigration, and is dedicated to supporting talent acquisition and retention through efficient and compliant immigration solutions. They are a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership over the whole program and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.

    • Prepare, draft, and file nonimmigrant petitions (including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1) and immigrant matters (including PERM, I-140 (EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-1C), NIW); review work product for accuracy and compliance; fix issues rather than hand them off
    • Own case management from intake through approval: review and pull documents from all resources, coordinate with stakeholders, track timelines, prepare filings, and keep matters moving.
    • Review cases for strategy, including risk assessments and issue-spotting; decide what you can close yourself and escalate to counsel when the risk or complexity warrants it
    • Manage program and process work: templates, playbooks, intake standards, and workflows that let a lean team handle volume
    • Oversee visa maintenance, including timely extensions, amendments, and change of status filings
    • Optimize internal systems to automate immigration processes where feasible
    • Advise internal stakeholders on visa eligibility, travel risks, and compliance with clear, practical communication
    • Bachelor s Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
    • Minimum 3 years of hands-on business immigration experience covering PERM labor certification and a wide range of NIV and green card processes (H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, I-140, AOS and/or consular)
    • Thorough knowledge of the PERM process, prevailing wage determinations, and recruitment requirements, including job description/minimum-requirements analysis
    • Ability to prepare, draft, review, and file case work - and to manage caseloads, timelines, and stakeholders
    • Quick on your feet and a self-starter with a strong level of ownership; able to triage issues make a call, keep work moving, and comfortably carry a high-volume personal caseload in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong writing and project-management skills
    • High attention to detail; will own work from intake through approval on a lean team
