Immigration Attorney – Full-Time

Location: Port Washington, Long Island, NY
Position: Full-Time, In-Office
Salary: $95,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience

About the Position

Our law office in Port Washington, Long Island is seeking a motivated and dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our growing team.

We are open to considering both entry-level attorneys and attorneys with prior immigration law experience. The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality legal representation to clients from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a variety of U.S. immigration matters, including employment-based and family-based immigration cases.
  • Prepare and manage EB-1, EB-2, and O-1 visa and immigration applications, including petitions and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and handle I-612 hardship waiver applications, as applicable.
  • Prepare and review immigration petitions, applications, motions, and supporting documentation.
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding their cases, legal options, and case strategy.
  • Conduct legal research and stay current on changes in immigration law, USCIS policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare clients for USCIS interviews, immigration proceedings, and other case-related matters.
  • Develop case strategies and work closely with clients to gather the necessary evidence and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate case files and ensure all filings and deadlines are handled timely and professionally.
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and office staff.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to a U.S. state bar in good standing.
  • Immigration law experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with EB-1, EB-2, O-1, and/or hardship waiver cases is a strong plus.
  • Newly admitted attorneys with a strong interest in immigration law are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.

Schedule
