Job Title: Immigration Attorney
Location: Coral Springs, Florida (Bar Admission Required)
Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 per year
Position Overview:
A growing law practice is seeking a skilled Immigration Attorney with experience in removal and deportation defense to join its team. This role requires a strong background in Brazilian immigration matters and habeas corpus petitions, as well as the ability to effectively serve a diverse, primarily Latin American client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in removal defense and deportation proceedings before immigration courts
- Handle complex immigration litigation, including habeas corpus petitions
- Provide legal counsel on Brazilian immigration matters
- Prepare and file motions, appeals, and supporting legal documentation
- Advocate for clients in court and during immigration hearings
- Maintain strong client communication and case management
Qualifications:
- Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar (required)
- Proven experience in removal defense and deportation litigation
- Experience handling habeas corpus petitions in immigration contexts
- Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish
- Experience working with Latin American and Brazilian clients
- Cultural competency in working with diverse immigrant communities
- Prior experience in a high-volume immigration practice
Compensation & Benefits:
